Betrayal, the final blow

Walk away
Without looking back
Leave a trail
Of brokenness
In the aftermath
Of your betrayal

I will let you walk
Into the heart of darkness
There you will stay
Carrying your destiny
Tied to your callous heart

Go away from me
Let not my eyes
See your face
Our story is over
My hands are washed

Final sentiments
Written in blood
The gift of knowledge
The power in knowing
When to let go
Is right now

Walk away this day
We are no longer joined
A broken union
A chapter ending
Wasted gift, signed, sealed
And discarded
